Season stats
11 Oct 2019 by Leroy De Alwis
Hi all. With a 14 game season upon us I thought I’d do a little number crunching to break down the season into more manageable numbers.
500 runs would be around 38 runs per innings. 450 = 32, 400 = 28.5
Taking 2 wickets a game will see each bowler around 30 wickets for the year.
I’m sure any top order bat would say to themselves that they have the talent and the will to average around 30, and the same for any front line bowler, that they would be confident of taking 2 wickets per game.
Break down the large targets into smaller, more manageable ones. Work hard, give your best, and success will come your way, and also to the club.
